singing in kitchen

Sometimes I am sure this is the right finishing way to sing. Other times I am not so sure. Why am I constantly clearing my throat?? Compare this to my beautiful voice sample nov 27. In that one I hear the consonants clearly, the voice is lighter, softer, but I think more natural. I will start tomorrow going back to basics.
